Our Structure

Spiritualism New Zealand is a registered charity run by a Board elected by members of our community via the Annual General Meeting. Members of the Board are also on one or more sub-committees.

Spiritualism New Zealand Board

Spiritual Healing
Sub-committee

Is responsible for looking after applications from people wishing to become provisional or registered spiritual healers and dealing with any queries relating to our healers and is chaired by Anne Roughton.

Promotions
Sub-committee

Is responsible for organising activities such as workshops, webinars, retreats, and any other activities that promote Spiritualism New Zealand and is chaired by Barbara Hand.

Spiritual Healing
Training Sub-committee

Is responsible for organising training for those who wish to become spiritual healers and is chaired jointly by Anne Roughton and Barbara Hand.

This Board meets two-monthly, via Zoom. This enables Board members from around the country to participate without needing to travel. A typical agenda covers:

  • Confirmation of minutes from previous meeting
  • Matters arising
  • Correspondence
  • Treasurer’s report
  • Secretary’s report
  • Registrar’s report
  • Healing report
  • Promotions report
  • General business
  • Date of next meeting
