Board Meetings
Our full Board meets quarterly, via Zoom so that Board members from around the country can participate without needing to travel. A typical agenda covers:
- Confirmation of minutes from prior meeting
- Matters arising
- Correspondence
- Treasurer’s report
- Secretary’s report
- Registrar’s report
- Healing report
- Promotions report (including events, webinars)
- General business
Next meeting dates are confirmed at the end of each meeting. If you are a member and have any matters you would like us to discuss at any of our meetings, please email the Secretary at secretary@spiritualism.org.nz.
Sub-Committee Meetings
Sub-committees meet as needed but usually at least once each month. The three sub-committees are:
- Promotions
- Spiritual Healing
- Spiritual Healing Training

Annual General Meeting 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to cancel our national retreat and so our third AGM was held via ZOOM on 27 August 2020 with members linking in from all around the country. We were sad to farewell Kay Howard who has done a lot of work on our new website but thrilled to welcome Amanda Cartridge and Lyn Herriot to our Board. Reports from this meeting are:

Our second AGM was again held at the beginning of our Living Spiritually national retreat, held over the weekend of 16-18 August 2019. Annual General Meeting 2018
We held our first AGM for Spiritualism New Zealand as part of a national retreat over the weekend of 3 – 5 August. The information provided was well received by those who attended and the comments received by the Board members present were both complimentary on what has been achieved so far and excited about what the future holds.
